Sovereign is the largest Indigenous program on general community radio in Australia. Covering events and issues that affect the Aboriginal and Torres Strait community here in Canberra and nationwide through our five shows. 

 

Sovereign also airs on the  National Indigenous Radio Service to regional communities across Australia. 

The show is brought to you by the hard work of the presenters (listed above), the Program Coordinator Dylan Anderson and Volunteer Producers Jacqui Pham and Mark Collins. 

 

Monday: Sovereign Stories with Billy T, invites people from the community to tell their stories and pass along knowledge.

Tuesday: Sovereign Schools with Deanne, features Educational programs and encourages young people to take up or complete their studies. 

 

Wednesday: Sovereign Voices with Alice Haines, brings the issues and events that the Indigenous community faces and offers a platform for people to voice their opinions and concerns.

Thursday: Sovereign Art features artworks created by the Indigenous Community. This could be paintings, films, sculptures ect.

 

Friday: Sovereign Sounds with Slabby, delivers the best in Indigenous Music as well as uncovering the hidden gems of the field.
