Appeal for a united front
The time has come for action! The only way to stop the government is to stand united as a people and oppose the destructive legislation coming from the parliament. We need to occupy a shield position between the government and our people and to do that we need to be smart and we need to be organised.
For time immemorial the Original people of Australia lived in harmony with the land with our own systems of governance and a law that never failed. The time has come that we must re-establish that governance for the modern age. We must come together with a clear unity focus, and a united national voice.
We must organise the right people, find future leaders from our best and brightest and foster their leadership for the future of our people.
Invitation to Meet at the Tent Embassy
It’s time for a big meeting to discuss this business together. This is an important time in history, an it's now or never. Will we let them walk all over us or will we resist ? The tent embassy is calling all Original people of Australia and supporters interested in forming a united national front to represent the voice of our people. Together as one big mob we will representative the culture, talent, history, spirit & lore of our people.
We propose to establish communication channels both online and within communities to share knowledge and get organised.
The goal is to establish a united national elected representative body to speak for our people on issues that are hurting our communities. We will establish a charter openly together which we will use to mandate our demands to the government and keep a constant vigil at parliament until our demands are met.
From our meetings we will produce & publish a bound mandate containing our detailed demands for our people. We will present this mandate to the Australian government before the final sitting of parliament for the year this december with a united and organised body behind the charter.
Our meetings will sit at the tent embassy and old parliament house when parliament sits. We will simplify all issues for common understanding, in order to discuss them as a group.
Our mission is to end the isolation and helplessness of our communities,
establish a contact list & mailing lists,
Form a national voice of elected representative to speak for our people on the issues we decide upon
Replace magnificent 7 & 12 chosen ones with an elected representative body
Review and comment on all legislation coming from parliament
Our movement will be governed by a charter and will have anti-corruption contingency plan. No one will be paid money for any of the work to avoid vested interests and corruption.

All meetings will be recorded as text, video and audio as a matter of public record. The meetings will be published online (youtube, facebook etc). Written minutes & documents produced by the meetings will be published online and in print. Online skype attendance will be organised free of charge for those unable to attend the meetings physically.
A specific invitation to young mob & university students
We need active supporters from the young mob to help us network online and in communities, film and record our meetings, type and publish minutes and documents and participate in our research groups. Get in touch if you would like to help out!
Meeting with the last elected ATSIC members
The tent embassy has arranged another public meeting with the last elected ATSIC representatives who have real world experience in this kind of movement. The purpose of the meeting is to discover what worked, what didn’t work, what could be done better, how could it be done differently? How can we use modern technology to make it easier ? The date is set for All are welcome to attend and learn.
